Upon moving to San Francisco this fall, it was slightly disheartening to see the lack of prep sports coverage featured in the local media. This inspired me to start a website focused entirely on the more than 30 high schools in San Francisco that feature athletics.
Beginning in February, those who have become similarly frustrated with the lack of coverage of your local schools can turn to SanFranPreps.com for a consistent and balanced view into the prep sports scene in the city of San Francisco.

Jeremy worked as a prep and college sports correspondent for the Pasadena Star-News, San Gabriel Valley Tribune, and The Santa Clarita Valley Signal prior to moving to the Bay area in the fall of 2009. He was also the Editor-in-Chief of his college newspaper, the Pasadena City College Courier. He was a prep football correspondent for the San Mateo County Times in 2009 and is now a sports correspondent for the San Francisco Examiner.
